Kurt Vonnegut's works — and the works of his family — are currently on exhibit at the Churchman-Fehsenfeld Gallery of the Indianapolis Art Center, in Indiana, USA.
The exhibit, titled "The Vonnegut Family of Indianapolis: A Legacy of Creativity" will run from July 9 to August 29, 2004.
tommorow is the last day ... and i finally get to head over and check it out. cannot wait.

I'm pretty overprotective of my books, unfortunately. I once had a first print edition of Shantaram that my friend from New Zealand sent to me after I lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. So of course I lent it to a long-distance boyfriend and threatened him with death if he didn't return it. To this day when I see his name pop up on messenger I message him with "GIVE ME MY EFFING BOOK" to which he replies "lol."
I see you like Vonnegut. Good taste. Here's something to boil over. My husband had the fortune to see the man give a speech while in college. He said it was one of the most dynamic and interesting college speeches he'd ever sat through. And to this day he's still never read a single thing by Vonnegut. And he's a manager at a book store and gets a 40% discount and those economy editions are cheap so we're talking less than three dollars. To read Vonnegut. Despite the fact he was awesome.
I don't get it, either.
